Sheng Pu’er Tea Cake

This aged sheng pu’er is made with ancient tree material and the processing is highly limited every year. The name of the village, Xigui, loosely translates to “returning to the past”. The high minerality and complex notes have earned Xigui the reputation of one of the top-tier sheng pu’er. A perfect balance of bitter grassy notes and a silky texture, what you get is a tea with strong cha qi without any astringency. The floral profile reveals itself with multiple infusions.

Brewing suggestion 5g /100 ml using 98 Celsius water (near boiling). Start with 10 second infusions.
